FS: M&K Shorties

They sound awesome at 4k and above on the track. I had them on my car with headers for over a year. I used to drive it to work about 35 minutes Sometimes people would give me ugly faces and sometimes a thumbs up. The 2.5 hour drive to Homestead or Sebring was taxing at times, but the 1st session always brought that killer grin back.

I have moved to a M&K GT3 muffler now so these are sitting on the shelf. I have considered welding up some pipes to exit these out the same hole that the GT3 muffler uses, but that just seems like too much effort so on sale they go!

Very VERY light at a mere 3 lbs.!! Your OEM muffler is 22 lbs+++ so this is an easy way to bolt on -20 lbs off the rear end of the car The flanges have been lightly sanded so there is no interference with the stock SC/Carrera valence. I used a support bracket off of the back of the engine, but if you have short headers you could probably get away with no extensions or support bracket just fine.

These are used and have turn downs pop riveted to the ends to direct the sound at the ground... Not sure if that actually does anything

$180 shipped CONUS

Enjoy!

-Michael

Yep! Still have them in a box on the shelf As for power I never dyno'd them so I cannot comment on the power other than a seat of the pants comment that the engine seems to spool faster with them. I have a M&K GT3 on the car now which is also nice, but I have not had it on track to compare to the shorties.

I am still planning to build a nice pipe connecting the two and exiting in the same hole that the GT3 exits. Then I could swap them in a second and determine on a dyno what the power differences were between them. Not a high priority, but I might actually get to it before x-mass this year

Still for sale, though! Not sure I really need 2 exhaust systems, but might be interesting. *shrug*
