I believe I have both front and rear sets in great condition. I know the rears are in MINT condition. I just pulled them out a few months ago and they look brand new. I'll check the fronts I have on the shelf this evening.

Thanks Guys!

I just purchased my 85 Carrera from a fellow Pelicanite. It's nicely set up with 24mm front and 30mm rear T bars, but it's just too stiff for our roads in the Midwest. Ideally I'd like go with a 19mm front and 25mm rear.

Let me know what you have.

Thanks!

Scott

I'm a newbie to these cars.....are the front bars a bit shorter than the rear? I have what I believe are used (have grease on them) fronts that are 19mm (.750") and a rear? pair that are 23mm (.910") and they look like they've never been installed and are clean...no grease on them.

Scott,

I have the fronts at 19mm and the rears at 24.1.

Rears minty minty minty!:

Fronts are nice, but are not as minty as the rears. This is the worst part on the both of them (dirt, grease, and some surf. rust mixed):

If you like, I am making a run up to the powder coater's place next week. I could throw them in the pile of parts for not much $.

Let me know!

-Michael

BTW, 24/30??? wow that seems way off balance. Does the car under-steer much? Should be more like 24/33 or 22/30. 24 is a HUGE front bar... if you found a 22mm front set that would go well with your 30 rear and really soften up the front end where you feel all the bumps in the road. Besides... changing the rear bars is a PITA.
