Porsche 911 ski rack for targa

Ready for ski season. This is a ski rack to fit on a 911 targa. I think it is a factory accessory but not sure. Asking $650 shipped from 59102. In very good to excellent condition. Leather straps all in great shape.
thanks for looking

Is this supposed to go/attach on the targa top?

One of the bars has brackets that fit on the 2 screws on the targa top and then the other bar locks onto the top raingutter toward the front near the windshield.

Just what you need up in Vail.

buffalobilly,

Do you have any pics of the installed ski rack on a targa?

I won't take my targa up skiing, but I might put the rack on, load up some skis and go for a ride off season. No reason other than "because I can". maybe grab a vintage pair of Head 360's, put them on my vintage 911 and show up at Porsche club events.

For me it would realistically be a conversation piece, rather than for utility.

Is there a bike rack available for a targa?
