I have 2 complete sets of C2 Turbo fiberglass Front and Rear Bumpers, Rockers, and front spltters, and brake cooling ducts (replace fogs). These are NEW. I also have some used front and rear lights. Pics if interested. These are race weight. $650 for each set of body work delivered to Hershey. Email is better.

Here are some pics. They also come with heat shields for the rear bumpers. The parts are made by Golden Coach Works (Golden Colorado). They were one of the premier makers of Porsche stuff back in the '80's and '90's. They made some of the best steel slant nose fenders etc. I called them up and event though he hadn't made any of these in years, he dusted off the molds and made me a few sets. Hershey delivery.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for the bump, however you are mistaken. Those are in fact 965 (Turbo body width) rockers. These are also all new parts, never mounted. Vince |

I see. Looks good.
So the issue is whether the front of the rockers flares enough to meet the front flares of the wheel wells? Otherwise, is the rocker length and width the same as NB? And then, are the shark's fins are also different/larger and more curved to mate to the rear flares?

Wow, I guess I am not active enough any more. I have a very good reputation here and my word used to be good enough. Ok, lets start with this,
Non Turbo rockers are not flared at the front. These obviously are. Also if you were to hold the rear pieces so that they were parallel to the rockers, you would see the very large flare. If you would like I will take pictures next to turbo bodywork so that you can understand. That won't be until late this evening. Again, thanks for the bump. Vince |

Ok, First, I re-read the post, sorry Rbogh901, I thought you were piling on, but you were just asking good questions. And your assumptions were correct. Now, it's a good thing some of us can quickly build a car to prove a point
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry that it doesn't line up perfectly in the back but I'm not going to drill mounting holes in my car to make that point. Jim, did you want to pick them up at Hershey or should I ship them??? Last edited by vtsjr; 04-17-2012 at 04:55 PM.. |

Free bump. Ok. I'm cornfused on the photos and new to FG body parts. What is the difference in the white and black versions in your photo? Obviously a different kit but are the flares different on the rocker pieces or is there something else too?

In Jim Tweets pics the black set looks to be factory original parts. It is a rubberized material (sorry, not sure what it is called). The white ones are aftermarket for a 964. They have the 4 mounting tabs which are spaced for 964's. My set have have the 3 attachment points like earlier 911's. Here is a stock 930 rocker for comparison. I hope this helps.
