Kinesis K17 for sale

Have a really nice set of 17" wheels, fronts are 17x8, 5.5" backspace, 25mm offset, rears 17x9, 6.250" backspace, 25mm offset. Bought last fall, for racing this season, engine rebuild $$ will put everything off until next year. Bought from fellow Pelican. Currently have Conti Extreme Contact mounted & balanced, 225/45 & 255/40 with 50 miles max, also have set of Toyo RA1, 255/40 & 275/40. Have $2700 in the set with conti's.

Fit SC or Carrera, with the bigger tires fender roll be good idea.

With the 6.25" backspace of the rears do you need spacers for a Carrera?

PatrickB - i do not know the weights off hand, if serious, i can take them off the car and weigh with contis, do know tire weight. Let me know.

Slimlynn1 - I am not using any spacers mounted to an 81 SC, from my understanding the SC & Carrera are the same in this area

Kinein - was told by PO these were K17 model, not an expert on Kinesis wheel families, so assume that is what they are, regardless, good quality track / street wheels.

Any center caps?

How is the polish/condition of the rear lips? In the pictures the rear lips kinda look beat. Perhaps updated pics of each wheel..?

I took a few pictures of the "worst" nicks i could find, IMO they are in good shape. I have not cleaned / polished the wheels yet, was going to do this when i took off the car. there are no major nicks / bend in the lips. I can possibly move a little on the price. The wheels can be seen in either Frederick, MD or Hagerstown, MD, think you are not so far away.

Let me ponder a couple days...

The Contis are great street tires, so that is a bonus. I do not mind polishing as I have a buffing wheel.

The color is killing me though... It is time consuming to take them apart and get the centers properly repainted. Plus these are now an older obsolete model from what I can gather off the Kenesis website, heck they don't even make 17s anymore! Odd IMO.

No center caps, the original intent was for racing. i think the hole size was "standard" Porsche size, I'll measure tonight and confirm. What type of caps would you be looking for? I may have some old ones in the ? box.

Set of 4 Kinesis Motorsport 4 prong center caps, molded into the backside of the cap are 1336 101632. $60 for the set. Hope the ph pics give you an idea, didn't get a chance to clean them & you can see me in the reflection. Thanks
