WTB: 1994 3.6 Turbo engine and Transmission

Major shot in the dark...
I need a 1994 3.6 turbo engine and transmission for a friends project. Not looking to low ball, will pay fair market value.
Let me know

A friend of mine has a less than 20k mile motor complete with DME & harness, exhaust, clutch, intercooler, etc. No trans, tho. Motor is in Monterey, CA. Email me and I can put the two of you in touch. I can get you pics tonight.

Thanks,
Marc

$16,000 for the 3.6 965 Turbo engine complete

Rebuilt
w/ aftermarket Turbo and aftermarket intercooler

$8,500 for the 965 G50-52 Transmission
These are market prices, I doubt anyone has a low ball engine these are hard to come by pieces.

I paid 10k for a used 3.6 965 engine that was clean three years ago, but spent another 4-5k on clutch & head work as the leakdown was suspect (for a reason).

$10K is a hell of a deal (if no work is needed...), last time I looked around $14K-$16K was the going rate for the motor...

I once purchased a Running driving SC for $5k and now have to put another $5-8k to get it where its at.

Just cause someone sells an apple for .5 cents vs the market price of .25 cents doesn't mean its always worth .5 cents
Its hard to get people to understand that sometimes
