That looks like a Sachs pressure plate painted orange. Is it cast iron or aluminum? Does a magnet stick to the orange section?

Centerforce AKA Sachs

Yes, it is a Sachs pressure plate that Centerforce modifies and paints orange. The Sachs stamp is on it. My mechanic had to machine mine to get it to fit. The first Centerforce pressure plate that I installed broke a spring after only a few hundred miles, so they are only as reliable as Sachs makes them. And since it is a wear part, it was not replaced under any warrantee.
