The original 4.5's had normal anodizing and the paint was a diamond shape the same shape as the 1967 only recess. The deep six wheels would have had a non RSR anodizing which can be done for $210 and approx 4-5 weeks vs $250 for the RSR finish and 10 to 12 weeks. It would make more economic sense to to go with the original non RSR finish and would be more correct.

Just sent my set of 5 - 15" x 6" with hearts to him to get anodized and painted. Went with his options of finishing the backs, caps and new valve stems.
Anxious to see these completed

Yes we do caps. They actually get anodizing like a tiny wheel. $25 each. Other info and pricing here: Squarespace - Claim This Domain

I noticed after the above post that you want the caps in black. The best way to handle that is to sand and rattle can them in your desired black. Cheap and easy to do. Or powder coat them for more durability.

Before and After
I've been asked if we can fix damaged wheels. Here is an early Turbo wheel that got bent climbing up an embankment at 100 MPH after being hit on the road.

I wanted to let Pelicans know that the year old pricing on page one is outdated. I've send PP a couple of emails in an effort to edit that first post but could never get an answer back. We have prices posted and better photos on our new website: FuchsRestoration.com
We bumped prices a bit but we are still $150 per wheel less than the other high quality wheel guy and around two years faster with turnaround. Thank you to all of you that have used us during this last year and thank you for your kind comments. Rick

I used Rick on a set of 5 deep 6 fuchs with hearts. Standard anodized finish with black paint. turned out fabulous! I strongly recommend him.

We are a bit busy right with straight resto work now but if you circle back in 4 or 5 months we may be able to accommodate you. Harvey does this type work if you have the downtime of 2 yrs or so. He does do good quality anodizing.

Had 2 set of wheels (Fuchs and Ruf Speedline) refinished by Rick and they turn out fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality service and quick turn around.

Hi Benji
Yes, we take lots of chromed wheels back to their comfort zone of correct factory finish. They can be done in clear anodizing or RSR frost. Frosted is a bit more money due to increased labor. You can see pricing on FuchsRestoration.com my website Rick

Not a Porsche guy but a VW Super Beetle guy with 944 brakes...thus I scan for super deals on 5x130 PCD wheels. From an "outside" perspective, your work is gorgeous, though I will admit you make them look like wheels I can't afford.
