On Thursday, August 4, 2016 I will be contracting to have the mold made. Because I could not generate enough interest to support the pricing hoped for in the initial post for this thread, I will be making these available for $49.95 each + postage. Postage will be based on the number of units desired.
1 - 2 units = $6.80 (USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate Box) 3 - 10 units = $13.45 (USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box) 11 - 20 units = $18.75 (USPS Priority Mail Large Flat Rate Box) Any of you who expressed interest in these may contact me directly at res0ca5d@charter.net Please avoid PM's, I hate having to log on every time I receive a PM, it's a nuisance. That is still a great price. I wish I would have waited.
I just received one of these from over seas and I think I have close to 100.00 into the thing.

The faceplate is nearly complete. Just finishing touches remain. I should have these ready by September 1.

The mold is now perfected and will be sent out for texturing tomorrow. As soon as it returns the first batch will be run. Exact date is unknown, but very soon.

I picked up the first batch of faceplates today. They are 100% perfect. I'm ready to fill orders.
EDIT: The 1st batch fit too tight. This was due to material removal during the texturing process and we did not catch it. It has been corrected and new ones have been sent to the first few buyers. EDIT: The faceplates are completed. They are very nice and fit well. I have discovered after critical examination and measuring that they are not 100% perfect. They are within tolerance for fitment and appearance. There are variations of up to 10/1000s of an inch compared to the original. That is equal to 1/3 of a 32nd of an inch. Generally it is imperceptible to the eye, but very apparent when measuring with a micrometer. All in all I would say that they are 95+% perfect.
