Hello,

It came off my 78 SC which was painted midnight blue.

As you can see in the photos, along the left side there's a little bit of hazing from when the previous owner wet sanded it so I'd probably paint it if you were going for a direct color match on your particular car. It may be able to polish out but I haven't tried.
