WTB: Ruf Wheels Narrow Body

No longer interested, found a set.

Couple of notes. These can be purchased from Ruf around $4500.00 so before you ask 4000.00 for a set of used wheels think twice.

A set of used set, in pristine condition should not be more than 2500.00

Used is used.

Email sent. I have a like new set of 18" Ruf Speedlines for a narrow bodied car. According to Ruf North America they are NLA and were made in Italy for the narrow bodied 964 and 993.

TIA

Henry

^ he clearly says it's for a 3.2 so why even bother offering him wheels that obviously won't fit?

Who asked for your opinion? You don't know squat. Can you not read? RUF North America said there were made for narrow bodied 964 and 993. When I bought them they were on a 1984 Carrera Targa. I had them on my 1974 911 Carrera clone.

So keep your uninformed opinion to yourself. By the way look up tortious interference but then we already know you can't or don't read.

The correct wheel for the Carrera 3.2 is the 17inch RUF --- yes, the 964/993 RUF 18s will fit, the PO Of my G50 car had a set on it, but they are a completely different wheel in look and in size .....

So RUF says they made these for a 964/993, impactbumper needs these for a 3.2 Carrera, and yet somehow, I'm the one who can't read... My bad lol

I suppose I would be high-strung too if I had unsuccessfully tried to peddle the same set of wheels on the classifieds here for over two years.

Apologies for the derail OP, back to the topic at hand - here's a picture of my 911 with RUF "designed for a SC/3.2 Carrera but will fit a 964/993/longhood" wheels, but what do I know

Ruf Speedlines On a 1984 Carrera

Just to set the record straight. The Ruf Speedlines fit a G Model just not the style Berk is looking to purchase.

Here are the Ruf Speedlines on the 1984 Carrera when I purchased them.

You can buy the 17s directly from Ruf in Pfaffenhausen, just that they're not made by Speedline anymore.
With the strong USD-EUR, that's the route I'd take.

I would agree. I wonder who is making them for RUF these days.

Sounds like Avus makes them nowadays. I am heavily considering a set semi local to me!

I have a set of gen 3 for a turbo. Maybe China? Could not get a definite answer. They are not marked and nothing on the box. Look very nice and lighter than previous versions.

Who is making the wheels for the current production cars?

Mk3 are much much lighter than the the speedlines or avus which are boat anchors. Nobody seem to know where mk3's are made but I think I would rather go with those even it they were made in China.

The 993/994 18" wheels have too be the most esthetically challenged wheels that Ruf ever produced and were not meant for use on a '84 '89 3.2!
