FS: Audette Collection JW Speaker Euro LED headlamps

Greetings all,

I have a set of John Audette's top of the line 911 LED headlamp offerings available for sale. Apart from a test fitting and plugging in the lamps to test operation, they are brand new / unused.

I geeked out over these with John for a few months, while he sourced the parts, including the E-code JW Speaker units from Norway, powder coated the inner and outer trim rings / mounts and assembled everything. I even made a geeky unboxing video...

Unboxing "The finest pair of headlights ever to grace a 911..."

It ends up that my usage patterns for the vehicle are such that I haven't needed these headlamps. Also, I'm in the midst of a move, so these would likely just remain boxed for a while, which would be a shame.

So, I have a few options available to me. A) I can simply leave them on the shelf where they've been the past few months, B) sell them complete, or C) sell the black powder coated mounting buckets, adjustment rings, glass lenses (essentially everything except for the JW Speaker LED lamp units). I can keep the LED lamp units for use soon in my son's pending first car, a Wrangler.

John sells the E-code JW Speaker 8700 Evolution 2 LED Assemblies for: $1,295.00 plus $100 for powder coated rings for a total of $1,395. I will sell the complete assemblies for $1,195, shipped to the ConUS ($1,175 picked up in the SF Bay Area).

Alternatively, I will sell the black mounting rings and external trim rings, glass lenses, etc. for $500 shipped to the ConUS ($480 picked up in the SF Bay Area).

Either way, I will split PayPal fees with you.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

Thx!

Just pulled these out of storage. They're not doing anybody any good sitting on the shelf, so... bump.

Yeah, pretty cool. I LOVE the win / win of vastly superior lighting performance AND drastically reduced electrical load on the 25 - 40 year old electrical system. The thing is, I just don't drive my cab at night. I acquired these as a legit lighting geek, but before I really understood my use case. Oh well, it's only money.

I have a set of these from John on my '74 Hot Rod. They really are nice and they actually look pretty cool too.

I've gotten a couple offers and one Pelican said "I'll take 'em!" this past Thursday, but... he's gone dark on me in the interim.

Speaking of dark... The night is dark and full of terrors. Game of Thrones bump.

Original test fit looks rather stealthy on a black car...

(Audette JWSpeaker LEDs on the passenger side, criminally negligent OE H5s on the drivers side)

Someone asked for pictures of the lenses (they're the premium, Hella branded, units) so I disassembled the housings for these photos. I'll reassemble prior to shipping.

I'm also sweetening the deal by including a set of OEM headlight gaskets.

Thank you sir.

Given that every car that I've owned for the past thirty years has gotten Euro / E-code headlight upgrades (it was a much easier proposition when all cars shared the same 7" round headlamp), I wanted to do the same in this instance. John had to source the Euro versions in... Europe.

Figures, i dug in my stash, and either traded off the big items or lost them in a fire in the spring

Yes, you can use fluted H4 lenses in place of the clear covers. It isn't optimal given that you'll be changing the beam pattern slightly, but others have done so here on Pelican and have posted their satisfactory results.
