1978 911SC Engine Compartment Light

I am looking for any information on installing athe orginal engine compartment light on a 1978 911SC. I have the light and the wiring harness. Just the location of the light would be a great start. Any other information would be great!

If your '78 light is like mine (long and narrow with a rotating metal cover that acts as a switch), then it mounts at the center of the engine lid just behind the air opening. The wires should run to the left side, down the hinge (secured with metal clips). The brown wire should go to a ground, and the other to a power source. Mine is controlled by the light switch. The parking lights must be on before the engine light will turn on.
