WTT Interlake Porsche Audi License Plate Frame

I just picked this frame up. Dirty in picture below. Cleaned up nicely, shiny and good color on the black and white paint. From Interlake Porsche Audi in Bellevue, WA

I'm looking to trade for University Porsche Audi in Seattle, WA. Also would consider Bayside Porsche in Seattle, WA and Freeway Motors (parent Co. of Univ Porsche). Mid '80's era. If I'm being picky, I would really like to have this style of frame where none of the plate is covered. I call it having four screw ears! BTW-I do NOT have this Penske frame-reference only.

For the moment, looking only to trade. I'll run it on my car if I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.

At the moment, I'm looking to trade. See my post above for exactly what I'm after.

What was your job at Interlake?

Interlake Porsche

I would walk up there when I was a kid and spend hours looking at cars. Wish I had kept all of the give-aways the people there would dish me. Now I have 5....still that kid I guess lol.

I think by the early 80's Freeway had switched to a plastic style frame. I have a couple of them (not for sale though!) as like you I always want the frames for each car I have. If you PM me your email I will send you some photos, so at least you know what they look like. I know for a fact they are correct as my 911SC came with a complete history including a photo of the original owner taking delivery and those frames were on the car!

Keep posting, it will turn up! I literally had to buy a car I didn't even want because it had the plate frames I had been hunting 10 years for on it!

Actually, I'm digging how it looks on my vintage plate, although I'd be open to the black painted metal frame from University I have seen. For now, I'll rock this vintage frame even though my car didn't come from Interlake. Thanks for the bump TTT.

I’ve got a Ralph Meany plate frame for his shop in Kirkland WA if anyone is interested. Not sure how old it is.

Does anyone have photos of the old Bayside Porsche dealership (and University Porsche) from the 1980s/1990s? Strangely, I've not been able to find any!
