I have a full set of pistons/cylinders (6) and the original heads (6) from my 1991 911 C2 with 58K miles on them.
All components are complete and in great condition. Pistons have been measured for ring gap clearance, cylinders have been verified for roundness and piston to wall clearance. The set includes pistons, cylinders, wrist pins and circlips...used rings too! ![]() The heads are in great condition and include all springs, valves, retainers and all studs...if you're interested in having them upgraded to '92 and later specs, it's a fairly economical upgrade to accept the later cylinders that have cylinder to head gaskets. I can facilitate this upgrade as I am currently having a spare set made up. ![]() ...I would be willing to split the costs of the upgrade. I could also have the machine shop install new guides/seals and cut your valves/valve seats to provide a full head reconditioning for another $400, my cost. SO, for about $1100, you would have a late set of heads with a fresh valve job from a machine shop that's been doing it for years! ...not affiliated, just a happy customer. ![]() I am asking $650 for the piston/cylinder set...FREE UPS/Fedex ground shipping! I am asking $650 for the heads in current great condition, $775 if upgraded to '92 specs...and $1100 with fresh valve job, I'll pay for the guides/seals too! - FREE UPS/Fedex ground shipping on those as well. Now beat that price for a STELLAR, late version set of 3.6 heads!
