WTB - SC Chin spoiler and or tail

Hi,

I'm looking for a chin spoiler and possibly tail for my 79 SC at a "reasonable" price.
(Canadian dollar and all).

PM or email me with info & pics.

Thanks,

Ed, Carrera tail or 930? If stealthn passes let me know.

Stealthn, you can do the chin spoiler without the tail but you really should not do the tail without the chin spoiler. The tail adds extra downforce and without the chin spoiler you can get to much air under the front of the car causing the steering to go light.

Bob,

I tried to send you an email but got bounced back. I bought the tail on Ebay for 300. They guy lied and said it was in good condition. The tail has small cracks in the fiberglass. That is the easy part to fix. Fiberglass repair kit. The real problem were the cracks in the rubber. This is caused when the metal rods inside start to rust. This is going to sound nuts but instead of payig 600 for a new rubber lip I cut the metal rods out and glued in brass ones using a speacial 3M rubber epoxy used for repairing car bumpers. It really worked pretty well. The tail now just needs finishing. There are a couple of small cracks that need filled using this epoxy. Then the rubber will need to be painted with a special paint used for painting rubber parts. The tail would be great for a race car or if you wanted to buy new rubber for it. Let me know if you are interested. I bought a new car that already has a tail.
