Hoosier race tires for sale
1 set of Hoosiers, 225/50-16 fronts, 245/45-16 rears, perfect for 944 w/16x7 and x8 rims or for 951, for track use only. Tread depth holes and groove show plenty left. Selling tires from a set of 16" rims I bought for street use, and need to buy street tires for my car. I auto-x on 15" wheels on my 83 944 N/A. Can sell Hoosiers for 1/2 of list price-$400 or best offer. That's over $800 worth of sticky Hoosier rubber for $400. Email for photos.

Hoosier info
They are R3S03 tires, bought new by previous owner in Oct/Nov 02 and used for 2 DE events in TX before he upgraded his brakes and had to get 17" wheels. $300 for all 4 tires because its killing me not to be able to run these rims on the street yet!

In talking to other members it would appear that one of the front Hoosiers is unusuable due to a small patch of cords showing on one outside edge. The other front is fine, but these are probably best viewed as a set of "practice tires". The rears are still very good, with about 1/8th inch of depth in the treadwear holes.
I couldn't even begin to estimate the minutes/hours these have been used. I have no experience with these tires at all. Eric |

Hoosier update
Best to change this add listing to 2 rear Hoosier tires for sale...
$200, with the two front tires thrown in free. While the other front tire looks ok, it probably has significant wear on the outside edge too, enough so that I wouldn't want someone to be disappointed. If anyone wants photos, they're now available, just email and ask. Eric |
