FS: RS America tail and decklid

Switching to a RSR wing, so wife says I must sell my coveted RS America wing. It is finished in grand prix white and it's in excellent condition (never repaired, repainted, etc...only cleaned). Price includes factory RS America deckid. For you trivia buffs, the difference between a Carrera tail and an RSA tail is simple. The RSA tail doesn't have a hole for the wiper and doesn't have the tea tray painted black. Tail is located in Maryland. $1000 firm. Buyer pays shipping. It's all OEM. Came from a real RS America. Funny, when I was looking to buy this tail, I was adamant that I wanted an OEM tail and not a copy. I couldn't do that with the RSR tail as I was told that a factory version cost $5K! Since it came of an RSA, it was already assembled. All I had to do was bolt it on.

I'll answer this one for Manny, as I did the same thing that he did, and now have an extra RSA tail & decklid too!! Yes, they will fit all 911/912s from 64-94, but not correct for pre 74 cars, although it will fit. Like Manny says, the only difference is the wiper hole, but in the RSA ads from 93 (yes, I have the 93 RSA ads too, but not for sale.) Hope this helps!!

Another difference is that the RSA tail (base) is less prone to cracking/failure due to thick(er) fiberglass reinforcements. Also, you will need a new latch if you are installing it on an SC/Carrera.

Anywhere from $200 up, and it can get WAY Up!! You might want to take it apart your self. After Manny's tail has been delivered, my black one will be for sale, but not until is sale is a "done deal"!!

I have a fiberglass Carrera tail available for sale $325 does not include the lid. It has the outer lip painted black to simulate rubber, but it is all fiberglass and weights 15lbs. Simulated rubber edge could be painted all the same color and would be very handsome. 805-498-6351 Jim
