WTB - Engine harness rubber grommet - PLEASE HELP!

Hi everyone!

While installing my engine harness yesterday evening, one of the rubber grommet went pretty bad and I'd like to replace it. Unfortunately, nobody is apparently selling it. I tried my local dealership, SunsetPorsche and even google does not give me ANY results for that part number (964-612-309-00, pictures below)

Any body here tried to get one of these before? Any body would have a used one in good shape laying around? Any idea where to find a replacement?

I'm so close to finishing up the engine, I can't wait!

Thanks in advance!!
Philippe

Go to Aircraft Spruce
They have a large variety of rubber grommets that are designated by inside and outside diameters.
You can find something close
They will have either a MS or AN number designation

thanks moparrob and Indescikov!
I will look at that grommet and at Aircraft Spruce as well. I also found marcorubber.com which has a lot of choice and seems pretty cheap. I'll order a few and will post back here if I find one that matches perfectly just in case someone else is in the same situation

You might try McMaster-Carr. They even carry high temp grommets. Shipping is quick and reasonable.

That grommet is installed during manufacture of the engine harness. I have one installed on an old harness and I see no way to remove or install it without cutting the harness or the grommet.

I bought a coupe from Rose Passion in France:

https://www.rosepassion.com/en/saisie

This is the grommet used on all 911 engines through the 3.2 Carrera; I think the hole size maybe the same as your shroud has.

He is looking for a part for a 964. The shroud is quite different than those that came on earlier engines

Just a quick update, I finally found a solution! I'm putting it here just in case some makes the same mistake I did...

A friend of mine found those grommets that have the right OD (1-3/4in or around 35mm) on Grainger website, it's a pack of 25 but I actually used 3 of them, I slightly damaged the first 2 and I wanted this to be perfect...

The OD fits perfectly but the ID (1in or around 25mm) is way too big as you can see.

I went buy 1 feet of 1in oil line at my local auto parts shop and used some electric tape around the harness. Result is pretty damn good, it's tight, doesn't move and will seal the air really well I think!
