It dosen't make sense to save it, but I can't let it become a parts car and the rest to just be crushed. The body shell is in very good condition, just the rockers, pans, frame rails in the torsion tube area. Ideas, parts wanted. Maybe build a tube frame racecar?

912drvr: We should probably talk. I gave up on a vintage 912 racecar project recently due to too much rust on the donor body (also a '66). Instead, I'm going with a 911 (already built for the most part) and have virtually ALL parts necessary for a great 912 vintage racer.
The list is too extensive to post here so e-mail or call if you're interested. I've got all of the head work done (ported, carb/manifold,head ports matched, valve work, etc...), solex carbs, new Shasta Design 11.5:1 racing pistons & cylinders, etc. Let me know. 66 Front Hubs
