Got my key today. It’s super sweet. Now I need to finish my car so I have a reason to get it cut.

This is also a good time to talk about lubing your door locks and ignition. I use Tri Flow but you can use any lock specific lubricant. Donít use WD40. It gums up. Youíll be amazed how great your locks respond to a proper lube job. Donít forget to use a shop towel to protect the paint.

Looks awesome, Ollie! Love the keychain too. We turned the orientation of the holes from the original 917 design to better accommodate keychains... looks awesome.

Do you make silver keys? If so, I'd be interested in a couple.

Got my gold blank - looks great.

For some reason it was hard to get into the locks (door and ignition) when cut - locksmith said it needed to be "thinned" - which he did and all good. Looked like he just basically sanded the key blank down on each flat side. I only post this in case anyone else has a little of the same trouble - it is an easy fix and I sanded down the rest of the blank, hit it with some steel wool for a little "patina". I'll post a picture when I get back from Luft.

Going to order a extra blank or 2. Good stuff.

Hey Bull-

Mods said you PMd me but my inbox was full. I was looking for a plain steel key and cost.

Thanks!

Bought two. Overall very happy. A little tight, but the fix for that is to use them. Some tri-flow helps. Best part is how they feel. The large paddle makes turning the key both in the door locks and ignition a more pleasant experience. The original plastic square-shaped keys now feel a little too small.

Thanks, got the PM. Totally fine, key maker put it on belt sander they had right there - fixed it right up. Cool key and just saw one in original Gulf #2 car today @ Peterson.

My buddy and I created 3 colors this time around... we worked off a new porsche OEM blank and got the tolerance within .005

Also, we put a little more into the polish. Ships this week.
