915 transmission with Euro cooler, refreshed

FS: 915 transmission with Euro cooler (believe its type 915/73E) recently refreshed with receipts in hand, work performed by Charlie Murphy at Intersport - McLean, VA.

Edit:

Asking $7,250USD shipped within the continental US (overseas shipping at buyers expense)

Refresh includes 1/2 and 2/3/5 synchro, dog gear teeth, synchro sleeve and gasket. Just under $1,500 in parts plus $3k labor.

Does it have a limited slip, it looks like it may have been stamped “12” as well.

Yep that’s definitely a 12. Wonder if they pulled it out on the rebuild?

bump as well for a nice trans … kinda curious on how they stamped these cases and the sequences as such used ... for example my trans is stamped: 915/72-12 73F-01938 ( NOTE: 12 STANDS FOR ZF LIMITED SLIP & F DENOTES 1985 EUROPEAN ROW CARERA / TURBO LOOK 3.2 ) Mine has both LS and cooler … w/ stock gear ratios: 1ST: 3.18 (11/35) , 2ND: 1.83 (18/33), 3RD: 1.26 (23/29), 4TH: 0.97 (26/26) & 5TH: 0.76 (38/29) w/ R & P : 3.88 (8/31) … so appears the only difference is a taller 5th from that of a 78/79 which has the stock ratios as : 1ST: 3.18, 2ND: 1.83, 3RD:1.26, 4TH:1.0 (26/26), 5TH: 0.82(28/23) WITH R&P 3.88 (8/31) …. If I am not mistaken on the data here …. ? - uncle dave

Bump before eBay - open to offers, or a swap for a rebuildable 3.2

No change of direction - but I need a 3.2 core more than I need a spare trans ...
