WTB: LSD for G50 Trans

Hi guys,

looking to upgrade from open diff in my 3.2 Carrera G50 car to a ZF friction-disc type LSD. Porsche Motorsport or Guards is good, I prefer to stay away from the torque biasing diffs like Quaife.

I figured I'd try this route before I go straight to GT Gears for a brand new diff.

Please respond here or PM me. I'm motivated and ready to buy.

Thank you,
Ryan

I have a good G50 LSD ZF unit here which shows good break away torque still indicating that it is in good condition that I could sent to you.

$1,250.00 plus shipping work for you?

Let me know if I can help.

I have a good one. Not sure if the early and later g50 units are interchangeable though. Email me a number to text pictures to.

The later ones can be machined for earlier fitment
But isn't direct fit
They are superior as well and worth the upgrade.

An added benefit is rebuilding with Guard plates you get the best of both worlds

I have 2 good used LSD units for 91.5-98 as well as 996/997 fitment

$625 shipped 48 states (each)

Hi, I have a 89 Carrera with a G50 and want to install a LSD. If the LSD is out of a 993 I understand there is no speedometer ring.
What machining is required to modify the 993 LSD to fit in the 89 G50?
Is it something that can be done on a mill, lathe or both?
Thanks in advance

Kenny
