Regulator connection
 
Putting back the regulator on my 68 i noticed a green wire and not sure where is going to... the 1st pic shows the regulator over the back mount with the green wire showing..the 2nd pic shows the regulator seperating from the back mount.

any help is much appreciated.

My guess is that it’s a noise suppression device for the radio. Again, just a guess.
