Wheel cap painting

I found a lady in Albq. New Mexico who paints Porsche center caps for $40 + s/h for a set of 4. I just got mine back and am astounded at the high quality work and how they look on the car.

If you are interested here is a link to check out mine and an e-mail link to the painter. My photograpic skills suck so the "after" pic really doesn't do the work justice, I'll work on a better one though.

I took the poor mans route. I put Porsche coat of arms decals on my caps and clear coated them. They look good and only cost me $2.50 each. You can get the 1-3/4" decals from PP.

Ron,

Those look good!

Is there a crest "engraved" on the cap underneath the decal or just a flat surface??

There is an engraved crest under the decal. The decal is 1-3/4" tall so it just covers the engraved crest.

Not sure how they will hold up to my high speed driving (65mph) but I will find out whe I take her out of storage next month.

Don't run her in the rain either.
