at the south east 912 meet, it rained on the 1st morning and we had the bra on mein 912. when we got to the charlotte auto fair, we took the bra off and the combination of the water still under there and the hot southern sun caused some major fading of our paint.
![]() ![]() last weekend we decided to see what waxing would do, to see if that could fix it some. although it was too cold to really have a good go at it (in the high 50's), we chose a small spot above the headlight, in the shape of our bra, and went to work to see what could be done. the good news is that after a good amount of elbow grease the paint is coming back ![]() this brings me to the question... we've been using zymöl. what kinda wax, polishers etc do you guys use or like?

I've tried so many and finally settled on Zymol. Since all my vehicles are black:
'00 323i '99 F150 4x4 Flareside '86 944 '76 912E and none are kept in the garage, you can imagine the abuse and exposure that the cars are subjected to (lots of birds due to psycho neighbors with nothing better to do than feed the critters). Zymol cures alot of ugliness... ![]() |
