1969 912-6 project

Bought a rolling shell -69 that will need a lot of love. Not too bad rusted though.

Rear end was damaged during transportation in some point before I bought it.

Now been fixing the wrinkled rear corners and removed the rear frame. At the moment getting headache trying to figure out how the wings are supposed to look where they join the taillight support and rear frame...

This is where I would love some help on figuring out how the parts involved look like before welding and filling with leadfiller or other...

Something like this or am I totally wrong?

Congrats on the find - what's the plan for it? Daily, weekend cruiser, race car?

Keep the updates coming!

Thanks!
Since this is far from matching numbers this will be the perfect canvas for me to build a ST/RS restomod.

Recieved the RS rearbumper yesterday.

Cardboard mockup...

At the moment trying to figure out correct measurement for the original narrowbody from longitudal frame to rear bottomcorner on the rear arches?

69-911.5x

greetings, I also have 69-912, that is slowly being transformed into a 911.5

I'm not sure if these pix will help you. My 912 is a former Vintage race car and, as you can see, this 912 was ridden hard and put away wet. So the rear end is also a bit bent and previous work had been started and left as you see it.

regards,
al
