Deco Trim Beading on 1967

Should the side rocker panel, front bumper and rear bumper deco trim moldings on a 1967 912 have beading trim between the molding and paint of car? Thanks

What is the location of the molding seam on the side rocker trim? On top, bottom or at the end?
