I'd like to see pics of your 912's with the 2.7 RS style ducktail on them... especially those cars with the stock (read: skinny) width rear fenders. I've been debating putting such a spoiler on my 69 912 but have been receiving lots of "what are you thinking?!?" comments from friends and fellow club members. So, I would like to see similar cars with these spoilers before I make up my mind completely.
Thanks!

exc911ence,
I am still considering this, however, I do not want the defacto all fiberglass units. If you are serious, try these folks, its a metal lid with the lip glassed on... http://www.mbhinc.com/html/duck_tails.html Dont listen to the pursists, give the car character, there are no rules...besides, what maybe four bolts and the old one is back on...sheesh I like Zeke's old signature line the best... "They all laughed because I was different, I laughed because they were all the same..." Dont conform for the sake of conformity...

Here's a friend's car.
http://www.early911sregistry.org/LGrover.html Yeah, it's a 911S, but it's also an early car with stock fenders and the duck tail. (don't rag too much on his spelling). I was actually thinking of doing the same treatment on my '69, but I need to get it together and running before I try and make it "cool". Personally, I think they look great. Later, G '69 912 with 2056ccs of stompin' T4 power |

I would certainly call myself a purist, and I certainly cane the life out of my 912 on the street. These cars get unhappy if you don't!

well mine is currently on an auction site (as long as the bidding or reserve isnt too high, and i win the auction). i already have an 's' spoiler to put on too, waiting in the garage.
coldbass how much do the duck tail spoilers run on the site you gave us? (gary kempton is the guy i think) those look real nice, and dont have a price. (im affraid to ask since tweeks is now up to 399, and are all fiber glass)
