parking brake moving/clicking
I have 1968 912. I recently replaced the parking break shoes and all seemed to go well. After refitting and adjusting everything I notice the when the parking brake is applied, the wheel (with shoes) moves about a 1/4" clockwise and counter clockwise and clicks. It seems that when the parking brake is on the "spreader" pushes the shoe as it should but moves the shoes apart/away from the tab that holds the shoes secure to stop the vehicle. This lets the shoes move back and forth.
