Brake overhaul
alright there, I have a 67 912 that i bought as a project a couple of years ago. One of the things that needs sorting is the brakes. Are there any pages that show a detailed stripdown and service? Can you buy rebuild kits or do you have to buy a whole new assembly if seals have broken down etc? Want to just start stripping them down but I thought i'd check there wasn't some special procedure or some tiny spring ready to pop out and never be found.
Also, how which cars were SWB? And which body numbers were made by Karmann? Ta

Marky,
Take a look at my thread that I bumped up - "65 912 brakes" There is some real good info contained therein. Terry
