Turbo tie rods ...early cars & Hershey

Hi fellas, first let me say that the Hershey meet I attended was fun, productive and WET! I purchased a pair of Koni struts with new ball joints and brand new Koni inserts. I will now be able to install a "good" front end for a change.

I have pics of some nice 912's that were there but they need to be resized, will do tomorrow and post

Does anyone know for sure that turbo tie rods fit 65/66 cars?
My originals are real sloppy, and I want to change to turbos.

I also have a spare pair of BOGE struts 65-68 with new Koni inserts in VERY NICE condition if anyone is interested.

Will post the pics soon.

Regards, Mike

I have been told do not use them

www.transend.co.uk I think thats the web address if not I will find it

they think they are not good for the car but I think more on the lines of that there really will be very little noticable difference.

I just installed the 911 turbo tie rods on my 69-912, combined with new bilstein shocks the difference is incredible.

Pelican has a tie rod kit for $129 vs. $75 each for the tie rods seperately, go figure.

PS - sorry we missed you in Brooklyn, our cell phones wouldn't work. Grimaldi's pizza was fantastic. Sunday in Central Park was the best!

I just installed turbo tie rods on a 66 and 69 912. They fit the same way. A good upgrade.
