WEBER IDF 40 conversion help
 

68 912.. “Weber 40’s”

Just purchased a rennline Weber conversion, got it very close.. idles great.. after I put miles on it.. it loses idle, dies at lights.. stops signs ect. Will start up with a little throttle finesse and go.

Current settings:

50 idle
125 main
200 air
mixture screws one turn out
Idle was set at 1000 rpm

You'll probably need to adjust each idle screw separately for fastest/best idle. If that doesn't help much, definitely check your float levels and make sure the carbs are synced. If you're running a vacuum advance distributor, check that it is getting its vacuum from the correct carb source.
