rear hood alignment

I finally got motivated and replaced the non-working hood lift on my 1967 912. Now the hood works great but is hard to latch and the alignment is off. Any idea how to better align the hood? It fit great before.

I'd take a look at the piece you installed, especially if the hood was aligned before.
You might have to get a different set. You might have been shipped a "heavy duty" lift that is s'posed to go on the rear to lift a turbo tail, although that is unlikely because the lengths are differnt.
But who really knows with out a part # or picture.
O.k., I've done my deed for the day, good or bad......
