Seat stuck, dash and rear quarters
Hello, 68 coupe owner. I’ve got a few questions for the group.
My seats seem stuck in place and don’t want to slide forward and back normally. I turn the little handle and try to inch forward and back and nothing. Any suggestions? Does the 68 911 replacement dash fit the 912? Are there replacement interior quarter panels available? My panels are too dried and too distorted to simply recover, I need new backing panels and all. |

I’m not sure which type of seat racks you have but some utilize a tension spring to keep the handle in the locked position. Check if the spring has either broken or detached. Otherwise unbolt the (4) mounting screws and remove the seats to inspect the underside.
I believe the dash should fit but let someone else on here that has first hand knowledge answer that question. You can also go to the 912 Registry Forums for great information and guidance. Pelican as well as other vendors offer door cards and complete finished panels to replace yours. I hope this was helpful and good luck on your repairs. RRC |

Thank you. Seat was just stiff from not having been moved. All good on the seats.

Great news!
Here is the link to the 912 registry. Just go to the menu and go to the forums and classifieds for 912 parts. Good luck. RRC https://www.912registry.org/content.aspx?page_id=0&club_id=22055 |
