Exhaust
What’s up guys/girls. If anyone know. I restored my 1968. 912. 14 years. And it’s been running great for the past 3 years. But it is starting to sound real loud on the exhaust. I think I have exhaust leaks.
Anyways I did an air test and sprayed some bubbles and all of my manifolds are leaking and heater boxes when I sprayed with bubbles. Looking to do a whole new exhaust Do I have to buy a factory exhaust with heater boxes and J tubes And can this be done without dropping the motor. And does anyone know anywhere we can buy A new custom exhaust system and can you get rid of the heater boxes I don’t even use them.thanks. |

The motor needs to come out to do it correctly and remove all your old stuff and start from scratch.
