1965 912 engine rebuild questions
 

I'm in the process of rebuilding the engine for a 1965 912. the engine was taken apart about 30 years ago. I am very familiar with air cooled T1 and T4 engines and have built many over the years. I have limited documentation for the 912 engine. The books provided to me only have rod bearing clearances but do not list the rod large end bore diameter.

I'm looking for the connecting rod large end bore diameter without the bearing. One of the rods was overheated and is 0.005" out of round. It will need to be resized. The machine shop is unfamiliar with these engines too.
