Weber Auxiliary Venturis?

With my big bore kit etc. I am now runnin weber 40 idf 60 idle, 195 correction 135 mains 32mm chokes but just noticed I only had 3.5 auxiliary venturis, I just swapped them out for a set of 4.5 I had in my parts box. It did make a noticeable difference in acceleration and top end, I didnt think is was bad before,, What are you all running or what aux vents do the weber 40's come with?

Good question craig, Ill check it out and let you know. Ill have to refer to manual to find it. Each thing in these webbers seems to make a difference. What about the 32MM venturis did they make a difference in engine performance> Im running the stock 28MM chokes 180 air correction, 55 idle jets, 125 jets, and F7 emulsion tubes . What emulsion tubes do you have?

I never had 28mm chokes so I dont know if there would have been a difference but I know the larger auxiliary venturis sure helped on top end, it now runs right up to 120 mph at 5600 rpm with no problem on the hway. Before it would start to top out at about 110 at 5200 in 5th gear.

Any suggestions on needle valve and accelerator pump jet sizes?

I am gladly swiping all your suggestions for the other parts but need these last 2.

Craig, Havent checked those yet wish you would quit looking this is getting expensive. Really though, Im finally getting satisfied with the webbers after all the monkeying. Now I have to go back to the manual. Maybe we should buy separate parts, trade, compare and write a book when we get done figuring these things out. If I had only read Dwayne Spencers book before I started.
