A good dizzy can make a big difference!! I was checking some old posts on timing and one said that a warn out 031 dizzy can over advance, When checking my advance I was getting a varying top advance twixt 30 to 36. The springs seemed weak and really didn't pull the advance all the way back very well. I put in another 031 I had which springs were much tighter and WOW what another difference for the better. I set the advance to 3 at 800 and it stops right at 34 full advance, It just keeps getting smoother and smoother, when will it end???
