Cam followers.....new or used?

Hi Folks,

I'm starting my rebuild finally! I bought a new stock cam for my 912 but would like to use the original cam followers. They look to be in fine shape, no visible wear, pitting, indents, or marks on either end of them. The cam was a bit scored and discolored but the followers weren't. Any advice on these? I'd really like to reuse them and save myself a few bucks. Yeah, I know, no such thing with a 912!

This is so exciting to be putting this thing back together! I had the crank ground and bought a host of new or better condition used parts, so it should go back quite nicely. The local machine shop does lots of NASCAR work and the machinist is the best! I feel pretty lucky to have found him through a local Porsche shop.

Thanks folks!

Bill
