912 to 911 Conversion - Engine Mounting Bracket fitment

I am wondering about differences in the height of the chassis mains going into the rear corner of the engine bay on 912s vs 911s.

I purchased a pair of 911 engine mount brackets from a German supplier but they are too thin for the height of my chassis main.

The photo below shoes that height of the chassis main in my ’68 912 is about 67mm.

However, the height of the brackets from the German supplier are about 57mm.

Is there a difference between rear engine bay chassis height (thickness) in, say, a '68 912 and '68 911?
