Fuchs Center Cap Pops Out
 

I have 15" Fuchs wheels with aluminum Porsche crest-center caps that have the ring retainer.

My left rear wheel cap keeps moving out of the wheel hole after a long drive. About a 1/8" gap 1/3 around the cap.

I put tape around the round ring retainer but it still moves out and I have replaced the cap with a spare cap but the same thing happens. I have already lost one cap.

Any recommendations? I have so much tape on the ring I have to pound it into the hole with a rubber cap mallet.

I tried masking tape and electrical vinyl tape but it made no difference. It still tries to pop out.

Could there be a problem with the hole in the wheel, maybe out of round??

Any ideas or fix???

have u tried silcone or grip fix or something similiar

No I have not tried any kind of adhesive (yet). Thanks for the idea!
