Brake rotor weight

Hi folks

Can anyone tell me the approximate weight of a 912 solid rear brake rotor?

Many thanks

James

Hi James,

They weigh about 13-14 pounds each. Any luck finding one closer to home?

Regards,

Thanks for that, Harry.

I've found a supplier in the UK, I just need to work out what the shipping costs will be like. Pretty horrendous, unfortunately.

One other option is to take the dimensions and see if there's anything more modern (and readily available) that can be redrilled. Might give that a go if it saves me $$$.

Cheers

James

Go with vented! Get a set of "M" calipers with the spacer in them and install nice new easy to get modern not oddball vented disks. All parts are bolt on front and rear.
