Lightbulb W225t1 Spark Plugs - Oem

The W225T1 Bosch plug were the original & correct plugs for the 912/356. They quit making them @ 25 years ago, so we have had to use plugs that are "close" in heat range.

I always try to use them in my car when I can get them, but they are pretty much unobtanium. BUT I FOUND A STASH of THEM. I had to buy 10 sets in order to get some for my car from a guy who had them all nicely wrapped and tucked away for years. They are NEW, in the old individual yellow Bosch boxes. They weren't cheap, but I don't need 10 sets.

I was going to keep 3 sets, and will sell off 7 sets. Wanted to see if anyone here wants some before I put them on Ebay. If anyone wants to buy a set of 4 for $25 which includes Priority USPS shipping in the 48 contiguous states, let me know. Please send an Email to seagle06@knology.net. These are the GENUINE thing...don't pass them up....I couldn't.

Thanks. George
p.s. I put a set in my 912 already and she really likes them a lot. These are also the correct plugs for the 356 and especially for the 356 travel kits.

These were replaced by Bosch W6BC. Why would anyone want to spend $25. when you can get 4 of the W6BC for around $5???

Duke & All, maybe I was the only one dumb enough to spend $5 each to get them. SOME people like original & proper stuff for show and for optimum running....but then again people run 009's in their 912's! Thanks for your kind input.

A minor correction to my last post-the W200T35 was the original plug replaced by the new designation, W6BC. The W225T35 (hotter plug) was replaced by the W5BC. Anyone using 009's in their Porsche is losing a lot of performance (not as much advance as the 050). Good luck.

I wanted a colder plug so I replaced my Bosch w6bc plugs with w5bc plugs thinking that the lower number Bosch plugs were the colder not hotter plugs?

cgarr: You are correct, the w5bc is a colder plug. NGK heat ranges are just the oppposite of Bosch, lower numbers are hotter, probably what I was thinking of. Bosch plug heat ranges run from 2-10 with 10 being the hottest plug.
