the next steps...

I'm off the "paint it orange" kick...

The latest...I'm gonna paint it satin black (not glossy)...and lower it another 3/4 to 1" or so....

yeah...full moon hubcaps too...to finish off the "lakester" look...and the 964 decklid with the moveable wing....

Good pic, I have been contemplating putting flat discs on my white 68 but was wondering what it would look like. I had an old chevy truck
years ago that I had painted satin black, I liked the look but I also have
a signal orange 70 E and I do like that also. Separate note, do any of
you pelican heads ever get together on Sat mornings, my daughter
plays volleyball and I am in Atlanta almost every weekend from now
until first weeks of November. What is that in the left side of the pic?
Keep up the good work.

You are right Morrie, screw the purists, set it up the way YOU want it and the way you want to drive it!

While I do believe in originality, modern technology goes a long way in making a classic car a more comfortable, exhilarating and safe drive.

I am also discovering geographic region has a bit to do with how you set your car. Taking mine to LV will require "non-original" modifications to make it a good driver for that particular area.
