Help Needed Fast PLeAse!!!!!!!!!!!!! 912 (1969)
 

I recently have been over hauling this Porsche 912 (1969) , after everything has been put up, i found out that the shifter lever assembly has some faults, i have difficulties engaging 1st and Reverse gear. Pls help or advice me. If i need a complete Shifter assembly?? Pls reply to me if you do hav one??

Daniel, have you tried adjusting the shift lever and shift coupling? Take a look at this article located at http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/911_shifting_improvements/911_shifting_improvements.htm

I replaced the bushings in the shift coupler housing. Couldn't engage 4th and 5th afterwards. Found the article at the url above and followed the very well written instructions, and all was well!
