67 912 headlights
Will 911 headlight trim fit on my 912. I just need the chrome peice. In particular what year headlights are the same. My car is a 67, will trim from a 72 911 fit. There are some on e-bay that i'd like to pick up if Ican...and if they fit.

the 68 and later headlights would be incorrect as they have the later thicker chrome trim, where as the 65-67 have the sleak, thin chrome with the headlight lenses.
btw.. the chrome pieces on the 68 up are different from the 67 and earlier, and will not fit the earlier assembelies. so if you get trim from a later model, you will need to get the full assembely, ring, bucket and all. i dont see why the later assembelies wouldnt fit, but honestly i like the look of the earlier lenses better these are 67 lights  now somthing you should look into is getting a set of H4's. much better than stock, but still looks correct, is an upgrade most people make, and looks great.
