Loosing all power
I've got a '67 912 (grey market)...my problem is when I'm driving down the road I loose all power
(electrical)...I wait approx. 5 mins and it starts back up...any suggestions or experiences? |

Spark, check both battery connections, ground cable at chassis connection, postive connection at the starter (big terminal), and the ground strap from the transaxle to the rear bulkhead. Maybe also the main hot wire at the generator--your problem sure sounds like a heat-related resistance increase in a cable or connector. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I figured out the problem, it was a kill switch that was located under the hood, by the fuses. It had short circuited for who knows how long. Went to O'Reilly's and spend 10 bucks on a new switch and fixed the problem.
