If you had fun on the last one, then I definitely encourage you to go on this
one. The route we have laid out for this one is a lot more intense than the
previous. We have tons of twisties, lots of good straight sections, lots of
up and down, numerous lake and river views and for the most part we've kept
the roads outside the city to avoid traffic. There is one little section
where we'll have to hop on the freeway, but nothing like the 20 min freeway
section of before. All accounting, were looking at somewhere in the
neighborhood of 4 hours from start to finish with around 200 miles give or
take. Ill be sure to spread some more details around when I send the
official invite, but we'll be grouping and leaving from Sunland on the
morning of Saturday, April 22. The group will run through areas in and
around Palmdale and the Santa Clarita Valley. I hope the month in advance
notice is sufficient for all those who would like to go to get their
schedules worked out. As before, we will be stopping for lunch in a nearby
corner shopping plaza with a McDonalds, Subway, Taco Bell, and a pizza joint
after the run is over.
