tech manual
 

Just bought a 68 912 in pretty good shape. Is there a good tech manual that is available on this car? I will be doing most of my own work, but a good book would be a great help. Thanks!

Automotion (and others) sell "The Porsche 912 Manual"-about 282 pages w/a reprint of the owners' manual, gearing charts, specs, you name it. Very helpful, and worth the $30 or so. Published by Lash International.

I just recieved the "Porsche 912 Handbook" published by Lash International from him.
About 13 dollars promptly deliveredand New.
This is a reprint so a few of the photos are a bit cloudy; but for a few bucks, it seems to be a great resource. The book is littered with hints that might save you from some costly mistakes.
